There are those who have reached the top in their profession and can carry the name of "Certified Master Chef" and René Bajeux was one of the select 44 in the United States allowed to proclaim that title. While America's total number of French Master Chefs just decreased by one, Anguilla welcomes Master Chéf René Bajeux with open arms. René brings Mobil Five Star and AAA Five Diamond restaurant experience as Executive Chef of the Windsor Court's Grill Room in New Orleans. He was also Executive Chef at the Five Star, Five Diamond Four Seasons Beverly Hills and Four Seasons Maui. Born and raised on a farm in Lorraine, France, most recently René made New Orleans his home for over ten years. Numerous accolades have been bestowed upon René such as praise for his own restaurant, René Bistrot, with Esquire Magazine's "Best New Restaurants," 2001 Chef of the Year from the American Tasting Institute; inclusion among "America's Top Tables," Gourmet Magazine 1998; and James Beard Outstanding Member, 1997-2000.
