Maundays Bay, Anguilla (September 10, 2003) - For couples not wanting to tie the knot but wishing to commit to each other, Cap Juluca, the award-winning romantic and luxurious hotel on Anguilla, has come up with the perfect answer: a "Carats of Commitment" program. Couples can choose from six plans ranging from one to six carats. All are led in a ceremony of commitment by Eustace "Guish" Guishard, Cap Juluca's General Manager, or his representative.

The One Carat program includes a bottle of Champagne, commitment certificate, special engraved gift and service charge, at a cost of $359. The Two Carats plan includes these features, plus flowers and a commitment cake, for $608.75. Three Carats provides all of the above, plus a photographer, for $1172. The Four Carats program includes these features and a guitarist and edited video of the ceremony, at a cost of $1797. Five Carats adds a champagne sunset cruise with hors d'oeuvres at $2123.

The ultimate Six Carat plan includes all of these features plus massages for two on the couple's private terrace and a dégustation dinner with Vintage Champagne. The rate for this celebration is $2837. Cap Juluca also can customize a commitment ceremony.

If couples decide to actually tie the knot, they can choose from any of Cap Juluca's six "Gem of a Wedding" programs. Whether on the powder white crescent of Maundays Bay beach, beneath the white Moorish arches of a villa, or under a gazebo perched on a sand dune looking out to the setting sun, the sea and the mountains of St. Martin, Cap Juluca's setting for a wedding or renewal of vows makes a very special event even more special and memorable.

Excluding December 20, 2003-January 2, 2004, daily rates for two from now through December 17, 2004 range from $325 for a 700 sq. ft. Superior room to $2,240 for a 2500 sq. ft. one-bedroom Private Pool Suite, depending on time of year. From April 1-December 17, 2004, all romantics can take advantage of the one-week Romantic Rendezvous plan which includes four dinners, a couples massage, an all day snorkeling trip and other extras. Program rates range from $4040-$6420 depending on type of accommodation and time of year.

Included in the Cap Juluca's daily rate is Continental breakfast served on the guests' terrace; all water sports, including water skiing; two weekly tennis clinics and day and night tennis; golf at the aqua driving range, putting green and bunker (golf balls are an added charge); use of the health club; mini-bar set up; afternoon tea served on the terrace of the Main House; sorbet service on the beach and poolside; a nightly movie; croquet; and horticultural tours.
